HOT TRENDS IN SPECIAL EVENT
DECORATIONS
The color chocolate is still around but being
combined with new colors like lime green and
yellow. The chocolate and pink or chocolate and
blue is fading somewhat.
Crystals, crystals and more crystals - on the
tables, in centerpieces, on windowsills, as
accessories. Whether they are real or plastic
does not seem to matter as long as they produce
the "bling" factor. We're even seeing curtains
and room dividers of crystals. How about some
crystal 'picks' in the bouquets? Crystals wired
together on a floral pick and inserted into the
flowers ... it looks spectacular!
Led lights everywhere! The technology has become
reasonably priced enough to encourage their use
in a wide variety of event locations. Use them
in glassware, centerpieces, plants or outside.
Led lights are also a great substitute for
candles, which are often not allowed in
facilities with fire issues. The possibilities
are endless!
